The wonderful vamptastic-fanpires over at Twilighters.org put up a new interview with Matt Bushell who plays Phil in the new Twilight movie. Although Phil does not have any lines in our favorite novel, Catherine let him have some artistic freedom with the character.
I thought the trailer was just fantastic and I thought it was just so cool. So well done. It just looks really right – really, really right. And I can imagine – I hope most people that are such fans of the books see the trailer say ‘WOW! This looks so far like a great adaptation.

So, over at MTV, there is a story about how they “brought to life” Bella’s truck.
Then MTV visited the Portland set, we found Bella’s reddish-orange ‘53 Chevy pickup resting quietly in a driveway alongside the mansion being used for the Cullen garage and meadow scenes. Much as it is described in the novels, it looked like it would require a tow truck if it wanted to go anywhere.

As of today, Stephenie does not anticipate that the publishing company will give us permission to post the first chapter until after the book comes out (only 37 days left!). Similarly, we will not post the BD playlist until after the book is released. For those of you who have listened to the four other playlists, you know that it would give away too much to release it early.
