Stephenie just updated her Website with the new song Go all the Way [into the Twilight] by Perry Farrell, and two stills from the Decode music video!

She also has some news about when we will be able to see the Decode music video. It looks pretty vamptastic, if I do say so myself.

In other awesome soundtrack news, we have just learned that the music video for Paramore’s “Decode” will be premiering on November 3rd! You can watch it all day on MTV, MTV2, MTVu, and MTV.com. Make sure to check MTV.com leading up to the premiere to see exclusive snippets and a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the video.

We are excited that we’ve been given the exclusive track list announcement for the Twilight soundtrack (in stores November 4th). We can also confirm that every song listed below will also be featured IN the Twilight movie. The soundtrack has exclusive songs written specifically for the movie from Paramore and Perry Ferrell. The Twilight soundtrack also features two songs from Robert Pattinson—this is the first time Rob has recorded or released music. And, of course, no Twilight project would be complete without Muse.

1. Muse — Supermassive Black Hole
2. Paramore — Decode
3. The Black Ghosts — Full Moon
4. Linkin Park — Leave Out All The Rest
5. MuteMath — Spotlight (Twilight Mix)
6. Perry Farrell — Going All The Way (Into The Twilight)
7. Collective Soul — Tremble For My Beloved
8. Paramore — I Caught Myself

Stephenie Meyer’s Book Suggestion

Stephenie Meyer has suggested a great book she has recently finished.

People often ask me for reading suggestions, and I’m always happy to share because books are exciting things to me. My latest excitement is this:  by Suzanne Collins. I was so obsessed with this book I had to take it with me out to dinner and hide it under the edge of the table so I wouldn’t have to stop reading. The story kept me up for several nights in a row, because even after I was finished, I just lay in bed wide awake thinking about it. I’ve been recommending it to total strangers in Target. And now to everyone who reads my website. The Hunger Games is amazing.

Thanks Stephenie! It sounds good! The author is Suzzanne Collins. Apparently, it’s about a 16 year old girl (Katniss) who lives with her mother and sister in the remains of what used to be the United States called “Panem.”

Long ago the districts waged war on the Capitol and were defeated. As part of the surrender terms, each district agreed to send one boy and one girl to appear in an annual televised event called, “The Hunger Games.” The terrain, rules, and level of audience participation may change but one thing is constant: kill or be killed. When Kat’s sister is chosen by lottery, Kat steps up to go in her place.

Well, if Stephenie suggested it, it must be good! I should go to the library so I could check it out. Gotta get on that… and you should, too!

SM Update

SM’s website was updated with important news that came straight from Stephenie herself.

So, many of you have heard that the release of the sixth Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, has been moved from this Thanksgiving to next summer. First and foremost, please know that this schedule change has absolutely nothing to do with Twilight, me, or Summit Films (so enough with the imdb death wishes, okay?). This is Warner Bros. decision, and it was not motivated by anything Twilight-related.

Ok? So the HP move was not triggered by Twilight. They decided to move it into the summer before Twilight switched to November. Pretty much, when they changed the date, it gave Twilight a slot to go into theaters early. So don’t bash HP or slam them in anyway. If Twilight was being moved back, we wouldn’t want it. Plus, I’m a Harry Potter fan myself. Alright, well thanks Stephenie!
